St Patrick's Day Gourmet Evening

With a Chef called Patrick, we couldn't let St Patrick's day pass by without celebration!

This annual event returns on, of course, Thursday 17th March 2011; Patrick has created a mouth watering 6 Course Gourmet Menu with an Irish Twist.

Dublin Bay Langoustines start the Menu off whilst Guinness is incorporated into the Main Course; to finish is an Irish Coffee.... Patrick's Way - what is this, well you'd best come along to find out, you won't be disappointed!!

The ever charismatic Philippe Larue of Wine Supplier L'art du Vin will once again be Master of Ceremonies and he has carefully selected some beautiful wines to complement the Menu.

Pre-Dinner Drinks and Canapes will be served at 7:30pm followed by Dinner at 8pm.

The cost, including wines is just £70 per person; these events are very popular and with places limited, sell out very fast. Contact Reception on 01721 730225 to reserve your table.

I will pass on your kind comments to our Kitchen Team; as you rightly say, people with dietary requirements often have ingredients removed rather than alternatives being provided and I'm very pleased that Riad and his Team produced something to your liking.

My son was so impressed by his meal in September, that he arranged for his father and I to eat there for my birthday the following week. The food was spectacular, both in taste and presentation and the service was superb. The chocolate painting with "Happy Birthday Mum" on it still stands on its' chocolate easel, as a reminder of this happy event.

After over 40 years of travel, during which we have eaten out in nearly 60 countries, we can truthfully say that this meal was amongst the best we have ever eaten. This is especially the case for me, as my need for gluten free food proved not to be an obstacle. Rather than just omit the offending item, as is so often the case, alternatives were provided which were both imaginative and delicious.

A memorable evening for all the right reasons.

We visited your restaurant last summer and were very impressed. We live in Chester and are planning on returning to celebrate our birthdays and were wondering if you were planning on having a gourmet evening this year?

Thank you for your comment; we are working on our Christmas and New Year packages at the moment and we hope to have them on line very shortly.

We will, for the first time in a few years be open for Christmas Lunch and as always, we will be bringing in the New Year with our very popular Hogmanay evening.

We are trying to findout your details for your Hogmany schedule eg. dining facilties, room rates and availability, etc., as we are unable to download the menu link from your website.
