Thanks a lot Riad and your lovely wife for your very warm welcome ! Our 2 days were excellent. After one week roundtrip it was the best place we've had. It's comparable with a Relais & Châteaux for the 5*service, the details, the cosy accomodation, the very nice presented and wonderful meals...

We ate in the bistro last night 22/03/2012; the staff were great & very friendly they couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We had the salmon for the starter which was unbelievably tasty, for the main, we both had the lamb shank with buckwheat & vegetables. I have to say it was the best lamb I’ve had in a long time, the meat just fell off the bone. We would both definitely come back & recommend it to anyone who likes good food.

I will pass on your kind comments to our Kitchen Team; as you rightly say, people with dietary requirements often have ingredients removed rather than alternatives being provided and I'm very pleased that Riad and his Team produced something to your liking.

My son was so impressed by his meal in September, that he arranged for his father and I to eat there for my birthday the following week. The food was spectacular, both in taste and presentation and the service was superb. The chocolate painting with "Happy Birthday Mum" on it still stands on its' chocolate easel, as a reminder of this happy event.

After over 40 years of travel, during which we have eaten out in nearly 60 countries, we can truthfully say that this meal was amongst the best we have ever eaten. This is especially the case for me, as my need for gluten free food proved not to be an obstacle. Rather than just omit the offending item, as is so often the case, alternatives were provided which were both imaginative and delicious.

A memorable evening for all the right reasons.

Wow how romantic... I'm planning to celebrate my valentines next year in Paris, France. I'm to surprise my wife by giving her a trip to the capital city of love. Thanks for sharing this post.

We visited your restaurant last summer and were very impressed. We live in Chester and are planning on returning to celebrate our birthdays and were wondering if you were planning on having a gourmet evening this year?

Thank you for your comment; we are working on our Christmas and New Year packages at the moment and we hope to have them on line very shortly.

We will, for the first time in a few years be open for Christmas Lunch and as always, we will be bringing in the New Year with our very popular Hogmanay evening.
